if it is still together andhas EFI setup on it and the intake has H.O. on it, its a roller motor. All high outputs are rollers.

The 85 Mustang GT was carbe'd and it was a roller motor...So I am not sure if that was the point, but even if it was carb'ed it could still very well be a roller motor. I'm betting that it is. If he does not know if it was acarb motor that at the very least say's A. It has no intake B. He has no idea what he is looking at...lol

lol, hmmm check cast numbers on block? I was told that non roller blocks are stronger and that the roller doesn't make that much difference. Also too it should be able to rev higher without floating the valves due to the fact that flat tapets are lighter.

Checking numbers on blocks is common. I don't think the topic is about the pro and con of roller non-roller blocks rather if this guy's block is a roller. Flat tappet over roller is a whole other discussion, no need in getting into that in this thread. If the man wants to know if his block is roller he can:
Check and match casting numbers, look for the designee H.O. stamp that should be on it. Or tear it down and look for the obvious. It's not rocket science.
