Default Car is not running the way it should

I really got sick of the car and dont know what to do.
it seems that it just doesnt want to perform the way it used to.
it sounds like couple of cylinders are not working properly.
I've changed the spark plugs and 2 of them were yellowish I dunno why. and yet i have the same problem some times the car backfires from the engine side and i dunno why!!
Did anybody had a similar problem? Please help

Id do a basic tune up. You said you already did plugs....get new wires, cap n rotor. Possibly a new coil. See if that does anything for ya. Check your fuel pressure, make sure its up to par. Start with the basics..

Glazing will turn the plugs a yellowish color. That's all I can think of. The backfiremay be a possible issue of the car running lean. Have you checked your fuel system? Change the fuel filter and check your pressure.

just my $.02

i have a problem with mine right now, it runs so rough, its like sometimes a cylinder or 2 isnt firing at the right time, it works good until it heats up then it gets all weird. electrical and grounds all check out, high performance ignition system is in it, and wen i step on it, the car doesnt go much at all or it kinda bucks but not a tranny buck just a loss of power. my mechanic coudlnt figure it out for the life of him and iv had it to 3 others. only recomendation they all gave me was to start throwing parts at it starting with distributor cap and coil and going from there. i dont have money to guess at this so if anyone has any ideas for us that'd be awesome. thats all i know and i have the feeling we have the same problem.

Does it to the same in neutral or just when it under load in gear? I'd start by checking the fuel pressure as I said above. Then a basic spark check to make sure you have good fire...

ill start it up, and it will run fine, then once it hits running temp the idle drops and hovers up and down from about 400 to 600 and it runs rough.then wen i drive it has no power watsoever wen the idle starts off rough like that and will drive like im bucking thetransmission wen i just step on the gas.its a weird problem no1 seems to be able to find.

Run a cylinder balance self test... that will tell you if you are having am internal problem or not.

i have the same problem here it seems. I've changed the wires, plugs, fuel filterand the TFI module. No luck. I'm starting to think it is a timing or fuel issue now.
