I have an 87 lx 5.0 5 speed, what should my first mods be? i have about 500 to spend on it. Do these models have airbags? I want to replace the steering wheel with a grant turismo one

No air bags on an 87. Gears and exhaust, best bang for the buck on a stocker.

Should be able to get some 3.73 gears installed for $500
bump the timing up a little with some 93oct gas.

you should get an idea for what you want to do to the car in the long run.... before you do ANYTHING..

I have already found myself buying the same parts twice, even three times

i do think some gears will be a good idea, how much are they? ill just put them in myself at shadey tree. are their any good air intakes? my engine needs to breath! Are their any free mods I can do? i looked for them and couldn't find any threads, but its probaby just because im a newb[:@]!
