When I store an engine block, I make sure that I turn it over a couple times a month to keep it oil'd properly. Just get a wrench on it and turn it over. As long as you kept it oiled and covered, you should be okay.

I would think that as long as you aren't in a super wet climate, spray a little lube in the plug holes every once in a while and keep plugs installed. you shouldn't have any trouble keeping it from seizing. if possible i wouldkeep oil in pan, take distributor out and manually spin oil pump with drill to keep oil throughout the motor. and if you are able to do that, why not manually turn crank every once in a while to keep movement. no sense letting a motor like that go bad...

Some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders will protect it for some time. Squirt some in the plug holes and turn it over a few times, then re-install the plugs.
