yes because it takes less effort to move the car there for it takes less power to spinn the motor and on top of that sice the motor spins easyer the turbos spool faster. and 6spd is like close ratio, and tremec makes a t56 that bolts in there and here is another one http://www.ddperformance.com/

Yeah, I went with the TKO600, has a great first gear much like the T56...
And costs SO MUCH LESS than that damn thing.
I was going to go with the V-spec T56 but it wouldve cost me so much just to get it to work with my car.
Shorter driveshaft, yoke, mount, bellhousing, clutch would all add up to like 2200+ or a bit more...
