Default no power to coil

I was having a problem with my fuel pump not turning on....so i went through and tested the ccrm, pcm, fuses, wiring and came up with nothing wrong....so today i found out that there was no spark....the reason for that is there is no power going to the coil.....and if i jump a wire from the battery to the wire going to the coil the fuel pump will turn on and the coil will get power...the car will run when i jump this wire

so what would control the power going to the coil....or where does that wire come from??

ok i'll try checking some of the wiring again....i checked pin 22 from the pcm to pin 11and that had the right resistance .72 ...and from the fuse box to the ccrm was making the test light come on

the i/p is the unde dash fuse box right? they were all good including the number 18

also if it was the ignition switch would the relays be able to click on when i turn the switch...sounds like the absand another one...there is2 clicksclose togther when i turn the key...

is there no power to the coil at all or is it just not throwing a spark. the pick-up in the distributor tells the coil to spark. common problem. happened in my old gt and my brothers f-150

there is no power getting to the coil or the fuel pump...so when i hot wire the plug in into the coil they both work

ok i will try getting that tested....or can i just test it with my ohm meter? know what the resistances are supposed to be

You do know that the fuel pump won't have power in the key on run position after the brief 2 sec it pulses to prime the system....it must recieve a signal from the ICM to remain powered up when cranking..........so I assume that even in the crank mode the test light is not lighting at the fuel pump harness connector at the rear when cranking and or when priming the system for the first two sec???.......
