RE: where can i get my block sleeved?
are you doing this to a stock block? if so dont waste them money. to properly sleeve it will cost at least 700
spend that money towards an aftermarket block such as the new boss block, a dart or man o war block and boost the hell out of it without fear of it splitting

thats still cheaper than a new block though, i still need to spend money on valvetrain, rods, pistons, bearings, crank, etc.
wouldnt it be stronger if i just sleeved this?

400-425 flywheel HP on my 302 which was an early (stronger) block, and i snapped the crank in 10 pieces and destroyed the block......... you want an aftermarket 302 block or preferably a 351 platform to build off of. (as said already above)

ooo alright thanks guys, idk about a 351, its not wider right? just taller deck height? are the cylinder walls thinner? whats some good places to get a 351 motor for cheap? can you swap 302s and 351 and they will hook up? like tranny, mounts, with no modifications? sorry for all the questions, and thanks again for all the help
