Default a little different gear question

this isnt a post asking which gear i should get, or what rpms ill be turning, or if ill notice any difference in gas mileage or anything of that sort

im just wondering with the higher rpms your turning on the highway (if they're approx 700 higher than stock) is it going to hurt your engine or just your gas mileage

i dont go on long trips too often, but ill be going to college soon, so ill be driving back and forth a little bit for that

anytime you drive your car in higher rpms it'll wear the motor quicker. but the 700 isnt goin to do much at all so dont worry bout it
