PROBLEM:yesterday i went to the track and on my 2nd run i had a good launch and 60' times. but shortly after that it lost RPM and when i got back on it it would rev up to 3g's and 'die' then it would drop to 1.5g's and only then would it let me rev it up to 3g's.

confusing i know but it was bacicly bouncing the RPM.

could the car have over-heated and gone into a 'limp mode' of sorts?


(P.S. my trap time was 67.4 @ 21mph)

Good Gracious I hope that was on foot!!!

I am kidding, you might want to check your coil, ign module, and your fuel pressure. Was the engine overheating when you ran it? If not then its not going to mysteriously going to over heat in a split second.
