Default 347 stroker...which heads?

i have a 347 stroker rotating assembly that i got from jegs. its made by eagle. i was wondering what heads i should get for this so that i can push about 475 hp. i was thinking either afr, trick flow, elderbrock, dart, or if i should rebuild my current heads. the heads i have on mystock 302 is slightly ported and polished. it would be greatly appreciated if you guys gave me your incite.

Im going with canfield 195's for my 347 but im not aiming my hp goals as high as you.
id say the afr 205's would get you the closest.

CHI heads with a CHI intake and a elbow you you can still use your EFI

if you wanna go the easy way, edelbrock victor jr's, afr 205's canfield 195's, etc will all get you where you wanna be

RPM wise i want to wrap to about 6500 and i was hoping to spend about $1500 to $2000 on the heads. also i was wondering about my current heads and if i could potentially get better results with them if i port and polish them some more and get better hardware for them? so again please give me your guys' incite on that.

flat out, you need better heads than your stockers could ever hope to be with all the machine work in the world done to them.

Take your idea of porting and polishing the stock heads, as well as the heads themselves, and throw them in a big green dumpster because they are both worthless!

Now, take your 2g's and buy one of the many aftermarket heads listed above, and you will be a very happy man.
