I swapped out my radiator yesterday as I had a leak. When putting it back togeather I noticed that on the 3 prong connector on the fan the bottom prong was missing. Has it been broken off or is it supposed to be there?

I'd fix it cause it may hinder fan operation there are 3 wires shown on the diagram and one is a ground for the fan and the other two go to the constant control relay module and doesn't specify what the relay uses the two seperate legs for..my guess one is for low speed operation and the other is for high speed...like when coolant temp reaches a certain temp low speed comes on and if it reaches another presetmax temp then high speed operation comes on
