inncorrect fuel level

Default inncorrect fuel level

i have about 4 gallons in my 87lx.. maybe. but my fuel gauge is reading way above full. i looked into it a little in my book and it said replace the anti slosh module. anybody know where the he!! that is? or suggest a different route to go?... any inquires would help

I believe it is a module that is located behind the gauge pod. It supposedly averages out the cycles of highs and lows to keep the needle from jumping around during spirited driving. I need to change mine out as it reads 1/4 tank all of the time and has burned me a few times.

my gauge reads incorrect also. it tells me i have a 1/4 tank when i have more.i went to fill up when i had a 1/4 and it only took like6 gallons untill the gas pump stopped. and i know the tank in my car is at least 14 gallons

Here is a part number for the anti-slosh module and it is still available from Ford. I just placed an order with Brandon Ford in Florida.
