RE: Rear End Drum Brake Swap Question
What rear end do you have sitting there to replace the one in the car? and I think is impossible to take the whole drum off whithout moving anything unless you get in behind the axle flange there should be 4 bolts holding the rear plate of the drum on that might work but the pads and such would move i would think
let me know

RE: Rear End Drum Brake Swap Question
What brakes does the new rear have on it now? If your talking about pulling the whole backing plate off an swapping it you are going to have to pull the axle shafts out to do that. If both are Mustang 9" drums then why not just swap out the brake shoes and drums from your old rear on to the new one if your wanting to use your old brakes.
