Default bad wiring??

ok well idk whats going on but my headlight swich and the connecter were just replaced because i think it shorted because the connecter was fried so i replaced them and still i cant get both my head lights and parking lights to come on when i pull the nobb out once or half way nothing when i pull it all the way i get the headlights and if i mess around with it like 3/4s of the way i can get just the parking lights on. So Im thinking maybe a bad ground some where along the line? And the person that had the car before me had auto start put in looks like they did a sh*ty jobthe wirings looks like it was doneall bad maybe they f***ed up somewhere so should i go to a pro an get it reinstalled if not where can i take my mustang for this problem?

I have a similar problem. The lights will cut off at random. All it is, is the power wire connection. Re-check your plug to wire connections.
