While I was working on the stang I accidently broke off all the four vacumm lines that are by the passenger side. They were all hard and bristle and snapped all over the place. But now I am trying to get a smog check and they wont pass it since the lines have been tampered with.

I bought some line and try to reconnect them myself to the best i could by guiding my self but no luck once I turned on the car it started idleling bad ,, so i disconnected them and it idles and runs fine.. go figure ??? im stuck !

Any help please ..

isnt there a emissions diagram under the hood? If not look for one online, it should help you get them straight.
