i wouldnt go bigger than .500 an f cam would be pushing it.

.475 tops, i would never even dream of running a .500 lift with stock springs i dont care what anyone says

ive run a e-cam with stock springs no prob.
...but paid in performance and were lucky...... stock springs = stock cam specifications. Anything else, and even improve for the stock cam...... require a good valve train setup.

nope it pulled all the way to 5500 no prob run a 13.3 at 103 with that and edlebrock intake, shorty headers, 3.73, slicks and thats it! picked up 2 tenths just by adding cam and a lot of street performance

the stock springs will float pretty early. i'd say if you put in any cam, stock replacement or not, go with new ones to get the best performance.

Leave it stock there is no use what so ever using a aftermarket cam with stock heads intake and whatnot. Go hard or go home.
