Default shift lever

Does anyone know if there is a way of replacing the shift lever on a automatic transmission or isn't that possible? I don't see any set screws or anything like that to take it off. Thanks in advance for your help

Default RE: shift lever

it is just pressed fit onto the vertical rod, just get a small hammer and tap up on it and it will come off but there are no threads on the shaft so I don't know if any other levers are made for it, sorry.
