fast xfi vs. Accel dfi
I am in the market for a new engine management system and was wanting to get some thoughts on which system I should go with including bang for the buck.
So lets have it Accel DFI or Fast XFI

RE: fast xfi vs. Accel dfi
the only thing about a PMS is that isnt stand alone. I am currently running an autologic chip manufactured by diablo sport And its giving me all kinds of hell I am running at 18 points air fuel ratio at idle and there is no way to bring it down not even if I adjust the fpr to 75 pounds I did that cause I was getting pissed. The reason I found out I need to get a complete stand alone was when I was doing a burnout and blew out my drivers header gasket. The car was tuned in florida and now I live in Idaho at 4000 feet depending on the day the altitude thingy says its 7000 ft. so I know I can get a little more out of the car as it sets by throwing it on the dyno again but auto logic whent out of business and now I am screwed so I am going to get a stand alone. My car is supercharged so I know I am way lean at idle but I think I am going way rich on boost as per the reason I blew my header gasket.

well first off going from florida to idaho you will need to lean your car out because the air is less dense meaning less molecules of oxygen per cc of air thus making the car run rich you may be showing 18:1 beacuse the computer is trying to compensate but it cant that much since you have a chip. next off setting your fp that high will lean your car out as per the injectors are not designed to flow at that pressure you need to set it at around 41-42 with a sc. and next a pms will work the almost exact same as a stand alone a friend has a 94 roush with a 347 sc fully built and WE tuned it ourself so he could drive itand when he took it to get it dyno tuned it put down almost 500 hp at only 8 lbs boost. i would agree that a complete stang alone is way better but its a little more of a hassle.

To hell with MegaJizz
You need to get an AEM. Plug-n-play into factory harness with versatility of FAST XFI
In the middle of doing DIS ignition with mine.

BTW.. my MS is direct plug n play... I make adapters for the MS.
and it sure as hell beats paying $1600
