Kenne Bell SC Question?
Im looking to get a Kenne Bell Blowzilla for my stang this winter and i was woundering if it would be worth it to also get a gt-40 lower intake and the flowzilla inlet or is that not worth all that extra money, also does anyone know what would be a safe psi to run on an almost stock engine, would 6-8 be good or could i get away with 10psi? Any info on the subject would be very helpful.. Thanks

RE: Kenne Bell SC Question?
Im set on a kenne bell, because i only heard good things, easy to put on, no need for a cooler, and no need to move anything else to install just the stock intake. all what iv heard from their site and also just word of mouth, and lastly they just sound sick. but other than that im still open to new things. thanks

RE: Kenne Bell SC Question?
well... 1. traction issues... and 2... heat soak
for the money you can go turbo... and get better numbers... and for less then that, you can go centri, and get just as good numbers w. out the heat soak and traction issues(well... depending)
and the whole no intercooler thing is a buzz kill

RE: Kenne Bell SC Question?
In my opinion all superchargers have positives and negatives, people seem to smash KBs b/c they don't make the high peak HP numbers that turbos and centrificals make, but honestly who cares unless you're building a dyno queen. If not having an intercooler bothers you there's always meth injection which does a better job than an air/air intercooler. Heatsoak is a problem with many back to back runs but for the majority of the time it does just fine. If your track is packed like ours is most of the time the car will have time to cool off between runs. Despite all the things against KBs, not the traction issue but the heatsoak and lower HP numbers, I'm still all for them and am getting one for my Cobra. I do not visit the track many times a year and am more interested in instant torque on the street, on demand without needing to wind the rpm out. Also I'm looking for the KB to compliment my 3.55 gears nicely and I'm sure it will.
