There is not many brands that make headers for autos. Mac is the only brand I know right off the bat that does

yeah I used mac long tube headers, very beautiful pieces... installed on a 1989 lx hatch....with AOD

very nice headers... the ones I choose would work with GT40P heads...

BBKs will fit buy you have to do a small amount of grinding of the bellhousing to get them to fit. During the summer I put a set on an 89' GT with an AOD. It's not that bad to do you just have to test fit them and see where you need to take some off at.

No I don't think they would. When you say change your tranny do you mean go with a 5 speed? If you plan on going with a C4 then you will have to do the same thing to that bellhousing. If a 5 speed is in your plans then you won't have to do anything.

actually the mac headers for the manual fit with a c4 or so im told. i bought a set for my aod thinking that when he said "they came off my automatic fox drag car" that he meant an aod and turns out that they didnt fit. on macs the o2 bungs are switched also inside for the man and outside for the auto
