Default running rich

I just put a 73mm MAF on and replaced my IAC valve and it seems like my car is running rich? is there anyway to adjust the MAF after putting it on? i dont have cats or smog pump on. I know you'll get more gas smell from the exhaust but something not right and i can smell rich fuel standing 20 feet from the car coming from the exhaust. any idea of the IAC or MAF adjustments?

did you reset the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least 15 minutes so the KAM (keep alive memory) in the ECU clears itself. if not, the ECU still thinks you have the old MAF unit and this could be the problem. try it, it can't hurt anything.
