clutch pressure again?!!!
just wondering what pushes my clutch back to position after i press it in to shift. reason being is because i don't have any resistance after i push my clutch down. i was shifting to 5th and when i pushed in my clutch my the cable came off the quadrant because there was no tension. the haynes manual said there would be a resevoir for fluid next to the brake maser cylinder but there was no such thing. it is far from stock so i'm just wondering what else could give me pressure. i saw a grey box with a white thing connected to the quadrant that had a plug to it. could it be that?

RE: clutch pressure again?!!!
your clutch is mechanical not hydraulic hence you do not have a slave cylinder or master cylinder for it.....if there is no tension...did the cable snap??? if not you may have a pressure plate issue..that is what creates the tension feel to the clutch pedal
