hey guys i know this has prolly be answered but i could not find the answers im looking for, but what is the volt meter supposed to be set on for checking tps settings? DC AC their are number like 10 250 and 500 to??? and on a 92 gt automatic, should the setting be ,98-.99??

I recall adjusting mine on the Capri, using DC, at a low scale 10vdc, 5vdc. or lower if possible. Always start higher then work lower on the scale until you get an accurate reading.

Yes, between the green wire and the black it should be set to .98 - .99 volts DC.

i put it on 10 and i cant get it to go past .55 and i put it on ohms and its a 1.00, they problem is that the car will not start, when it dose it will not idle and runs rough i put new plugs in it, rotor, cap , wires. and i still cant figure it out it is a 92 GT automatic i did not clean the maf because i do not have the right tool to take the sensor off the peace. i put the iac of my 88 on it and that did not help ither.
