what exactly are you asking here?

if the motor cant hold pressure, and someone has told you there is water in the oil, i would say that motor is pretty much grenaded, or about to be.

why you buying a car with a blown motor?

sounds like a real HG problem. motor is junk. time for a rebuild. once you got enough coolent in your oil it starts messin things up. you should see a crank bearing after coolent has been run threw it in oils place.

i would say blown head gasket. all is not lost. just fix it. how long have you or they been running it with coolant in the oil? i have changed quite a few headgaskets at the shop i work at, and have just had to change the oil quite a few times but it eventually comes out ok. havent had any comebacks yet

[hr]My old Blazer blew an intake gasket and got alot of coolant in the oil and I drove it home and had a friend replace the intake gaskets and it was fine until about 6000 miles later when it developed a knock due to a spun bearing. I had a friend swap the motor and I took the old one apart and one of the bearings was really messed up.

well I am able to pick the car up for cheap like 500.00. its a Ttop and a 5spd with some aftermarket suspension parts and interior parts. I have been looking around my area and there are a few 5.0 angines for sale for about 250.00 so would it just be better to just replace it. the guy just keeps it parked at his job. in the back lot. when he was trying to find out what it was he replaced the intake gasket along with water pump and like one or two other things so I know it is coming from the heads or head area. I am just afraid to take off the head and find out the engine is granaded
