1st question, my electric chokes power wire goes off of the altenator lead? when its there it dont seem to do anything.

2nd question, my tachometer does not work. where does the wire from the tach plug into?

wow, complete thoughts please. what i have found is, "for every action, there is a reaction" what did you do to make this new problem??

you have just asked many thoughts that require more info. are you still carb? what have you done to the motor?

second.... one can only speculate where your tach is suppose to be plugged into. on a efi it is suppose to be plugged into the POS. side of the ignition (disclamer...see tach instructions) on efi.

with carb I THINK.... your suppose to use magnetic pick-up of some kind. i dont know details because im not carb.....

just wire the elec. choke into a normal spot, like a wiper motor or find some other wire, not the alt though and remember its only on when key is in run. ...and for the tach, the wire goes to the coil or distributor. depending on what distributor you have. hei has a plug in the cap/coil, and a regular dis. with a coil not in cap. the tach wire goes to the (-) terminal on coil.
