'94 V6-302 swap

My freind is selling his '94 AOD V6 for a good price, but I would much rather have a 302.

How long would it take a good shop to do the swap?

If I do this, I will hunt down all the parts to try and save myself some cash, just what will I need other then engine, tranny, harness, and mounts? Will I need the rear end?

Thanks alot

I doubt a shop would want to get into that, around here anyway...liable for too much.

BUT, you's need a different trans, crossmember(?), 8.8 rear-end, PCM and harness, and exhaust to start.

RE: '94 V6-302 swap

Engine
Trans
Driveshaft
8.8" Rear End (Can use 7.5" the V6 came with, but it aint worth a hoot)
GT Shocks
GT Struts
GT K-Member/Crossmember
Mounts
GT Exhaust
GT brakes (If they are different than V6 brakes; gotta have the extra stopping power for the added power, weight)
Probably more that I can't remember.

You're best bet is to buy a wrecked '94-'95 GT with all the drivetrain/suspension intact and in working order. Look for a tore up body to keep costs down.

Basically same idea as converting a Fox Body 4-cyl to a 5.0
