so which is it? the number of revolutions the driveshaft had to do to spin the tire one time, or the number of teeth devided into each other?

the division one sounds right just because it is more technical but the other one sounds logical too. Somebody please let me know for sure the correct answer...

They are both correct. The pinion gear turns with the drive shaft and the ring gear turns with the axle/tire. So as long as you are going straight (and have no slippage in positrac)
the math for both ways is exactly the same.

both are right

the divison is more technical , do it that way You porbely nead a oil change thare aney way

The best ratio for the street 3:55 stick & 3:73 AUTO you dont start to have fun untill 4:11 but the quick shift gets hard to live with and on the expressway cruse at 2800RPMM takes it tole after a while
