Default brakes

had my pads replaced yesterday and the outside pad is worn and the inside one isnt . are my calipers bad and if so whats a good budget replacement ? thanks nick

If one side is worn more than the other, wouldnt that mean the caliper isnt floating right. Sticking to one side and causing the other side to keep coming towards it, continuosly wearing it down.

In other words, Id say clean up and grease the caliper pins. Id rather try that than replace a caliper, IMO.

it could the caliper slides, caliper or the hose could be even holding pressure.check slides first if the slides are moving fine open bleeder screw and if brake fluid shoots out like its under pressure then replace hose.

I also think you need to clean and lube your caliper slids. Sounds like your caliper is hanging, the cylinder is pulluing back in, but the caliper isn't sliding properly. New calipers would be a wasteor money IMO
