Building a stroked motor?

Building a stroked motor?
I am going to have my motor rebuilt and I was wondering what I could do to make it a monster from the block up? I mostly want it to be a street beast. Right now its a 95 5.0. I'm wanting to stroke it to a 347. What will I need? How much will all of the work and parts cost to build it from the block up?
It has a rebuilt title so the wiring is a little screwed up and all over the place, and the check engine light stays on but it won't communicate so I can't pull codes. I'm thinking about just carbing it. pros/cons? Opinions? What would need to be changed if I decided to go with the carb?

I hate carb'ed cars
I would do the 347, with a 5.315" rod and a 1.175" CH piston.
A stroker kit includes a 3.4" crank, and the rods and pistons above can be had with a kit.
www.coasthigh.com is pretty good with stock block strokers.
You need to look to spend near 10k for everything.

if you already have decent heads and a decent cam from the "H/C/I" listed in your sig it shouldn't cost that much to build your motor.
1000 bucks or so for a kit (where the hell has fullauto been?)
1000 bucks in machine work to freshen everything up
500 for a decent carb and intake
250 bucks for gaskets, cam bearings, freeze plugs, misc. crap
250 bucks for beer
Total
$3,000.00
