If you are still using the stock 4 cath-pipe, then switching to a high flow 2 cat h or x would definitely help. If your currecnt h-pipe is off road (no cats) then the only reason to switch to catted, is for emissions control. I currently run a Pypeshigh flow catted x, to stay smog legal, and love it.

yeah well i was looking and would i benefit anything from using 2 cats compared to using a catless h pipe or x pipe because i will jsut keep my pipe with cats now and can switch it out in a single day if needed for emissions so that isnt a problem and would i be better or with a h or x pipe? i have equal length headers so which will give me better horsepower? or does it really matter?

Going without cats would improve flow over high flow catted design (marginally imo). As far as h or x, I think it's more a matter of sound choice than performance. H pipes are a little deeper x pipes more raspy, I beleive the benefit to the x pipe only occurs in veryhigh rpm situations.

The high flow vs. no is marginal at best(if its a good cat).
I custom did my hpipe so that i can put 2 highflow cats on for inspection, but take them off on the street (only for sound, which is ALOT louder)

So do you think a H pipe would sound better and the performans is not that much different compared to an X pipe?
