ok yes guys im such a newb when it comes to this... i am just now lookin into stroker kits tonight... and im just wondering, does getting a stroker kit add HP? or is it making the stang able to handle more??? please fil me in and explain to me how it works, sry for such a newbish question but hey u gotta learn somewhere. thx guys

more displacment=more power, btw i would look into an eagle stroker kit its one of the best kits on the market

it all depends on what heads and cam you go with

i read in a magizine where they took a 302 and strocked it to 347 and used the cam -heads intake and then dyoned it ..it was 100 hp more..so with better heads and little more cam it may be over 150 hp more than a regular 302...

dont get a 331 ...gm killer supposed to have hade one ,,but prob stock motor ,,,i just wouldnt want to be like him get it ..just look at this pic of him get a 347

stroker kits increase bore of the cylinders and lengthen the stroke of the crankshaft which increases the cylinder sizes of the engine.
the displacement of the engine is the total volume of air pushed out from all the cylinders when the piston is moved from the bottom of the stroke to the top of the stroke
the larger the engine displacement, the more air/fuel mixture can be burned in the engine and the more power it can make.
