hey guys, i'm putting my upper intake back on (edelbrock) and the bracket that goes on the back fell somewhere back behind the tranny and i can't find it. I need the car tomorrow and I was wondering what that thing does and if I need it?

Also under the upper, I have one hose fitting that I don't know what hose connects to. its one of the two really small ones. (one connects to that red hose comming from the fuel rail right?)
