I am thinking that this whole rebuild kit is ALL WRONG for my application. The best part is when I called the shop to clarify and ask if they have used this on 1993's or on a lot of T-5's they gave me such a sweet response that this is the standard rebuild kit they use (and right now I view it as inferior to what I already have) and proceeded to tell about how much experience they have. Similar to walking both ways uphill in the snow.
Find a new shop immediately... If all they can due to install confidence in you that they do good work is to quote their "resume", you don't need them.

Can't help ya with the kit and the parts, but I can tell you bad business practices when I see them. Your money will be greener elsewhere.

I hear ya guys on what you are saying, I am just putting it as gingerly as possible. Uphill both ways and "proceeded to tell about how much experience they have,"was my polite way ofindicating thatsoap on a rope was invented for a reason.

True... We went to an exhaust shop once with 2 old hillbillys running it (They had ZZ Top beards) and they were bragging about how they do the best work of any shop and they do all the exhaust work for the city, blah, blah, blah, and then we watched them working on an older Escort, and the shoved the tail pipe spout in the muffler rather than outside of it, and then the pipe and muffler were on so crooked, they heated the pipe in front of the muffler till it was glowing red and the two of them started flexing the mufflerto were it needed to be. What a joke...
