Default URGENT Suspension question

Okay, so i blew out my rear shocks, and I have no idea how, but whats done is done...
Now I am looking at getting all new shocks and struts since they are still original from 1992...now my boss says that Monroe formula GP is the absolute way to go, and I can get both struts and both shocks for $313.00, and he says to loose the quad shocks. what do you guys think? are they worth the money or is there something better out there for the same price? I know these monroes came on the saleen mustangs, so they had to have been at least somewhat descent. Help me out guys!

This is one of daily drivers, but i drive very hard on the street. I may take it to the track once or twice, not too often, but mainly street racing and im looking for the best possible handling. Do you recommend anything?
