Default Water temp is off.

well when i get a chance ill check it myself but....I installed a water temp guage last night and my car runs at 150-160 while driving. If i let it just sit there for awhile the guage will get up to 210 and just sit there until i start driving then back down. I eather have a 180 or a 192 stat in it. It is a failsafe some im thinking its just being held open. Btw it is damn cool here

Default RE: Water temp is off.

so what's the question???? Is the gauge reading right??? did you mount the sensing bulb in a place where it will take a accurate reading??? or is your complaint the car doesn't warm up enough to operating temp in accordance with the t-stat you have??
