Car revs to 3-4k then kills ???

I'm working out the qorks, ive just got done with my rebuild and i've been messing with the timming, I had it running then I guess I turned the distributor too far and it cut out on me, now it just revs up to 3k when it starts and just kinda dies, and its on TDC and everything, oh yea i just replaced the starter relay if that is of any significance.
