Well the tubular gt40 has a ported lower already. i figure ill get afr 185s now so then when i get my shortblock 347 that i can just take the heads off the 302 and put them on the 347. i wont put the cam in the 347, if i get the steeda cam i will just put it in the 302, but i am thinking that will be a waste of money if i can't transfer it. looks like it might just be the gt40 intake mani with the bottle until the shortblock.btw a zex 100 dry shot with 10* of timing is safe right? i know i need to get colder plugs before installing it. i would like to use it since i already have it left over from my v6

Is your bottom end stock? Not sure if you know but you need to notch the pistons to run AFR 185 heads. Like everyone said the Steeda #19 really isn't enough cam for a 347 and 185s, i mean it will work fine and it's a good supercharger cam but you'll need a more agressive cam to get the max out of your engine.

Real good cam for a 302, good head and intake choice change the cam to a comp stroker cam and thats how i would build a 347. Dont let people talk you out of the tubular gt40, when you port the lower like you said has been done, they perform very well, i just think maybe some people see gt40 and immediately think the standard cobra intake.

Well I have changed my mind on my plans.I would put the steeda 19 in the 302 but it wouldn't fully use the afr 185s and i would have to get new springs and such for my old heads if i used them and it won't transfer over to my 347. so i'm not gonna get that cam.so i'm gonna put my tubular gt 40 intake on and just put my 100 dry shot on the car and focus on getting a better cat-back and a better TB and a CAI...(still got a paper filter up there at the moment) I'm only going to put things on the 302 that I can transfer over so the head and cam are out at the moment. why spend money twince? i'm going to just save for my shortblock from fordstrokers.com that ill order and put in next winter and ill put afr 185s on in with my intake and get a custom cam for it
