All those heads are good choices. I'm rather unfamiliar with the Edelbrocks...

I'm running Edelbrocks with the 1.90/160 you mentioned. Gotta notch the pistons to run bigger & I didn't want to do that.

BTW, is anyone running a build that has been together longer than mine? My engine and driveline was all done in the Fall of 2000.

In addition to the Edelbrock heads, I'm running a Cobra upper and lower intake, BBK CAI, E303 cam with factory rollers, Crane 1.6 roller rockers, Cloyes double roller chain, MSD box, BBK equal length shorty headers, King Cobra clutch, WC T5 w/ pro5.0, aluminum driveshaft, 3.55 R&P with Torsen differential and a nice SVO aluminum rear cover. Car also has Baer 13" front and 12" rear brakes, Panhard bar, K member brace and strut tower brace. Oh yes, subframe connectors also. Full emissions still in place and it passes with no problem

pistons(probe forged)are notched(big) for valves......and I run a .542 lift cam at .220 duration@.050 with 1.7 roller rockers......AFR I've heard are good heads but have a heavy valve train mass hard to rev past 6k.....any one run these heads.....any issue??????

I have AFR 165s with the upgraded valve springs, it revs 6000rpm no problem.

Apparently the new AFR 165s have stronger valve springs so you don't have to worry about valve float, don't quote me on that though.
