I'm guessing that your trak lok probably needs to be rebuilt. I think the only mustangs that didn't come with one are the 4-banger, V-6 models.

There are rebiuld kits for sale at Ford dealer for way less than $150.........
Places like Mustang Unlimited and Dallas Mustanf have them too.....

you need to replace the tracloc cluctches in your rear end. I replaced mine when i was doin one wheel peels everywhere until i replaced mine.. then.. its both wheels all day long

my lsd is also out and i found a rear end with 373 gears with a working lsd for 150, a set of headers for 50 and a bbk offroad hpipe for 75. And the guy is going to install it all for me at basically whatever i give him lol. Figure 50 bucks seems fair. He also has a cobra upper and lower but wants 250 for it, lil high for my taste but if i got it, i could have a pretty decent setup for like 550 bucks, hell i bet if i bought it all he would install it all for 500.

anyways, do those prices for the above parts seem reasonable? I dont know what gears i have, ive got a 91gt auto, but im pretty sure there not stock but below 373s, i would like 410s, but if i can get a 373 rear end with lsd, figure it might be a good deal.

no they arnt bad prices but dont get over excited. when someone asks a price remember they are asking high and expecting the buyer to talk them down a bit to feel like they got a deal. if you get all excited and jump right into it its like handing them your wallet. buys cars is like chasing girls, gotta play hard to get haha

Auborn pro carrier! i got that in my car, and i love it. if your going to rebuild a rearend dont! spend the extra $$$ andbuild your rear right.... i was one legger, with 2.73's[:@]. then i upgraded my rear with the auborn and 3.73's man what a diffrence especialy when you got some MT's on
