svo was basically the same thing as svt. they did alot of stuff but not as public as svt is now. im pretty (99%) sure it is an SVO crate motor. ive seen a few other ones around

ah here we go, there are 2 divions of SVO, one is the 2.3T mustangs and the other is in the aftermarket performance parts, which was called Ford Motorsports and sold as Ford Motorsports parts, which is now called Ford Racing Tech
anyway back to the topic, 85(?)-92 used forged pistons, 2 turbos at 7psi is fine for a 92 5.0 engine, theres a mod here running 12s with a 12psi supercharger rather fine

One 50mm will not be big enough.
Twin 50's with those specs should work nice.
Cheapo throw away turbos, but they work good for what you're thinking.
You could run 8-10psi and the mid 400's rwhp easy.
If you can weld and have mechanical skills I can walk you thru an
easy DIY turbo set-up for those turbos, done dirt cheap.

yeah i can weld and i have great mechanical ability. i work in a cnc shop right now and the owner of my shop owns the building next to us and rents it to a guy named john. john canti motorsports if you locals have heard of him. he is giving me a carb box if he can find it in his shop. that would save me alot of time and money. but i would have to may a 2 to 1 setup since the box only has one inlet. i plan on collecting all the stuff for the build over the winter. i need a FMIC piping oil pan bungs and oil lines. oh and i would have to make the flanges at work. hopefully i can grab a set of headers for cheap so i dont have to eff up my bbks to make it work, maybe even find someone to trade for them.

RE: single or twin turbo?
im not 100 percent on the compression but its not terribly high.that is my problem and what i am worried about. my fuel system should be fine. and if my pump cant handle it i have a holly black just sitting here. i do need to find a carb to convert into blow through though. damn thats going to be a pain.

You'll be fine at 7psi with intercooler even if you're running 10.5 compression.
www.treadstoneperformance.com sells perfect TT intercooler
2 ins - 1 out, fits perfect. I have one, good quality for $400
Treadstone and www.extremepsi.com have all the little oil lines
and flanges.
Just flip some BBK shorties to point forward and up
Use BBK's, they are nice and strong and dont crack like cheaper ones.
Dont cheap out on hot-side materials. Keep it thick and strong.
Face the turbos so down pipe goes straight back over the headers
and the back down into stock H-pipe.
Then feed the cold side into the 2-1 intercooler.
Look at Treadstones TT kit. Run yours the same way.
