Default single or twin turbo?

i might be picking up 2 garrett T3 turbos tonight or tomarrow. they are internally waste gated at 7psi. i am running a 92 SVO crate 302 motor (not to be confused with an svo mustang 2.3turbo motor).... all forged internals with gt40 heads. i need opinions, do you guys think it could handle both?

specs on turbos are:

-Model: Garrett/Airesearch TB0335 (T3 Series)
-OE Part #: 466298-7, 466298-4
-Waste gate setting: ~7 psi
-Compressor Trim: 50
-Turbine Trim: 69
-Compressor Housing a/r: .42
-Turbine Housing a/r: .48
-Oil and Water Cooled

looks like dream turbos for a 5.0 just want to make sure my engine can handle it. i know i will have to build the trans alot better being as im already pushing past the limit of a T5 stock

never seen a TT 4 cyl...

stay single less complicated really dun think the little 4 cyl will have enough to spin both those turbos

if he has gt40 heads im pretty sure its a 5.0 engine, plus he is in the 5.0 section so i would hope thats what you have. As for if your engine could handle it, if you build it right with head studs fel pro performance head gaskets and strengthen the block with main girdle and in the valley pan then it should be able to take 500whp, after that is anyones guess. Its all in the tune though and the pistons im pretty sure those crate engines come with hyper pistons which would limit you to about 12 psi which is the most ive seen run on 9 to 1 hyper pistons without using race gas and even that ia assuming you got the 64cc head on there not the 58cc then you got around 9.6 to 1 and that will really limit how much boost you could run.

i didnt put it in but it was put in, in 92. i have all the reciepts for it and everything. so it was called SVO until 93 i believe. idk the exact dates it changed but alot of people get confused and i have to explain it to them. but back on topic. do you think it could handle both? or should i just try one?

It can handle both

are you sure its not a Ford Motorsports Crate engine? SVO only dabbled in 2.3T cars and only until 1986, [&:]

i will have to go back through my reciepts and see exactly what pistons are in the car. all i know is they are forged pistons and rods. so you are saying i would be better off with just one 7psi turbo then? im pretty sure i can take 7 psi no problem
