draining the coolant is the hardest part.

step 1 drain coolant
step 2 take off intake piping, and upper intake
step 3 take off heater hoses and upper rad hose
step 4 use a special tool to disconnect fuel lines
step 5 take off lower intake
step 6 clean it all up making sure to not get any junk in the head ports and the lifter valley.
step 7 use some permatex for the end seals and around the water ports and install the gaskets and intake.
install the rest of the stuff you just took off.

change the oil, and refill the coolant and your done.

if you want to save money and learn, do it yourself. Buy a Chiltons or Haynes manual and talk to amechanic. A good way of keeping crap out of the heads on teardown is to use a shop-vac.

you do not need a special tool for the fuel lines, just unbolt the fuel rail and you can move it aside and injectors pop right out and gives you a good time to make sure all the o rings on them are in good shape.

haha, ok have fun with that. I made a tool to release the spring on the fittings from 2 half pieces of thin rubber hose.
