D.s.s sells 4 bolt race blocks

they have a stock one, a level 10 witch is a street strip block or a level 20 block witch is a all out race block and each one u can get what ever bore u want

im not saying you wont be ok with the dss block but i do know that i have seen dss blocks crack under less horsepower than your plans have in store. i havent seen a dart sportsman block crack yet and the highest horsepower at the rear wheel ive seen on a dart sportsman is 850 plus and its been pushing that for almost 3 drag racing seasons.

How much do you want to spend? You do not have to answer that on this forum. Fordstrokers.com, Bennett Racing, Keith Craft Racing and Kuntz & Co.make some of the baddest motors around! In most cases these engines cost more than the car that you are going to be putting it in. But you have a company that stands behind their reputation as an engine builder. I am having that dilemma right now on what motor and who do I want to build it for me. I have talked to people at all the engine builders that I listed and all of them are friendly and can give you great advice on a combo for you. P.S. I have a DSS 306 in my car right now and all I will say is that I was never impressed with their build.

I just want a block and want to build it myself just don't trust people. The school im going to teaches how to build a hot rod from ground up


the guy that runs the school used to tech at wyo tech they only let him teach a hot rod class from 3 months thats not enough to tech about rot rods or custom bad *** cars its a year long full time school 9 hours a day 3 months chasis fab, 3 months body fab, 3 months engine perf, 3 months paint and body with final assembly

I'm sure one of the master tech there can tech me how to build a hell of a engine

even if my engine isn't the best i will have more pride when i race somebody and win because that was what i built with some help sure

then if i bought a crate engine and beat sombody. how hard is itto put a crate engine in a car.

I have seen a TON ofSTREET strokers make 380-400 rwhp with "302 parts."

There are very rare 302's that are pure drag racers that make that amount of power.

So I guess 302 parts on a stroker make stroker power.

If you increase the cubes, you increase the power. It does not stay the same.
