Fella's, I need some help. I got in my car to turn on the A/C and it starts blowing from the Defrost vents. No matter where I put the selector it only comes out of the Defrost vent. I replaced the center console and verified the tubes in the dash and still no joy. Can anyone help???

i think the next thing is to verfiy that there is vacuum going to the all the actuators. never had to deal with that problem but that's what i hear others had to do.

yeah. i had that problem. one of the vacuum lines under the hood broke. it was the one running from the vacuum tee above the brake booster... if you look closely it says A/C on the tee. check that line and others connected to it. that is the main vacuum line for the air controls.

Mines had the same problem... pop the hood, look towards the back corner of the engine bay on the drivers side... look for the a/c label... i fixed my with fish tubing and electric tape...
