I was told to use Razors, "Goop Off", Heat gun, and a bunch of other stuff. I began to go at it from the corner with the razors and it was looking like crap. So I just began to pull on it, and it came off clean as a whistle. I probably just got lucky, but lift up on a corner, and pull...you may be surprised! Good luck...

ya i just did that with the sun roof and about half of it just peeled right off. thanks

EXACTLY. w.o. the heat it will not come off smooth. Fixing the problem is all about the right tool.
