Default Dropping a 2V in a 89 LX?

well i recently came across 4.6L 2v and 5 speed transmission but was wondering what i would all need to get this combo in my 89 lx 5 speed?

i know I have to change the K member but is there a conversion kit out there for this swap? but what else do i need to get this project done right? thanks

i just seen a whole article about this in amustang mag try muscle mustang and fast fords website or 5.0 mustang magazine one of those should have the tech article

It can be done, but why?

Its one thing to throw a 4 valve engine in there, but a 302 has A LOT more potential than a 2v mod engine

a mach one block can handle 1k hp, you just need the internals to hold up. other than that keep the 5.0

wellthe 5.0 and AOD have been sitting for a while and instead of messing with getting those rebuilt i wanna just drop one of those in since i came across a 4.6motor and5-speed transmission and wiring for $650!

i am alsohappy with the way my 04 GT performs. so putting the same kinda setup in a lighter fox would be something new i have donewith a fox body since i already have had 8 5.0 fox bodys

your gunna spend a **** load of money and time trying to get that to fit i would suggest just doing up that 5.0
