dont go manual brakes just swap out lighter brakes

chcek out aerospace brakes, willwood brakes, or strange brakes

from what i have read strange is the better option as they are lighter than the aerospace brakes, but more budget friendly than the willwood set up

Just a tad bit cleaner in engine bay, no vacuum hose. And come in handy when running a big cam. I have man brakes and only pull 8 inches of vacuum. The pedal is stiff but if you have a good system there is no problem stopping, even though i would not want man brakes with a daily driver.

i only have the e cam with 1.7 rr and ive found out the redrilling the brake pedal can change the ratio and make it easier but not to sure if i want to do it on a street car or not.

I see no reason to go to manual in your case, unless you just want alittle extra engine compartment space. Its also not the same as pullin the vaccum hose off your booster ,pedal feel...The large bore master(usually 7/8 or 1 inch ) allows for a decent pedal effort..I ran these same masters(chrysler style)on my tube chassis cars up to 140 plusmphand they stopped great...without having to use 2 feet to push the brake pedal......like stated..more for space, weight and little vaccum at idle to use a booster...(which a vaccum reserve canister will help somewhat)..
