ebrake in 89 5.0

ive started to notice that when i park even on flat areas that my ebrake wont hold my car and that i really have to pull it all the way up for it to even hold it a little bit, is there any adjustments i can do or do i just need to replace it?

What do your rear brakes look like? They may be the problem.

you need to remove the rear drums and inspect all hardware like for frozen adjusters and or a rusted/ frozen cable due to rust and make sure none of your wheel cylinders are frozen either.....not that they would cause the problem you have but it's a great time to inspect the operation and integrity of the rear brake set up;)
