Hello, I am going to put a listing on ebay for the nylon fan and fan clutch off my 1992 Mustang GT. I don't want to list it as a 1992 item because I know other years can use it too. But I'm not sure what year range used the same fan as the one I have. I know at one point the 5.0's had a metal fan...

my '88 fan was white nylon if that's any help to you.

Yah it does, thanks, so I figure it should be at least from 1988 to 1993, now to find out if 1987 had it too...

No, if there was, the trash is right there, hehe. I would never bother to sell something that is not in good condition. I might want to make a quick buck, but I'll never do it by screwing someone over. I sell exactly what I advertise. The thing is, I had both the fan and the clutch replaced not too long ago. Which is why it almost felt like a waste given that I now have an electric fan. But the old fan had a lot of cracks on it and I didn't want to run the risk of it exploding any further, so I went ahead and bought another one from a local dealer. I'll get a photo of it soon, for the purpose of ebay, but I'll show it to you guys, it's almost in perfect condition, maybe a few black smudges, mainly from me handling it with dirty hands, but that's it. It's basically brand new.
