ok did a pedal swap in my auto for the t5 to get it out of the way plugged in the saftey nuetral switch now car wont start is that one should i unplug it?

If it wasn't plugged in before, I would un plug it. Are you holding in the clutch when trying to start it?

yeah well i just unplugged the safey nuetral switch and it started why is that?

i just got done swapping mine..and i looked thru my book and its in the way its wired when its a auto..it uses the switch that tells it when its in neutral or park to let it start...when u swap the pedals it adds another switch that the car doesnt know why its there...so when i did mine instead of hooking that up...at least while its still got the auto computer in it...i left the range switch(neutral park switch) hooked up and just secured to the t5, left the clutch saftety switch unhooked, and it is fine...except that it starts in gear, but im the only one who drives my car, so i dont have to worry about it...glad u got it to start tho
